Racquel Whittingham

My name is Racquel Whittingham. I am a member of the Seeds of Fortune Scholars program. I am a Junior at Brooklyn College Academy. I desire to major in nursing because I have always wanted to aid others when they need it most. I have participated in cheerleading, as well as community service activities throughout high school. I hope to be accepted into SUNY Binghamton.

My name is Angie Galicia. I am a member of the Seeds of Fortune Scholars Program. I am a Junior at Brooklyn Preparatory High School. I desire to major in sociology because I am intrigued by how humans communicate in a society and how it affects each group of people. I have participated in a volunteer program called NYC Cares throughout high school. I hope to be accepted into the University of Pennsylvania.

I desire to major in marine biology because I value the health of waterways on our planet. I have participated in cheerleading, poetry slams, and fundraisers throughout my high school career. I hope to be accepted into Cornell University.

I hope to be accepted into Clark Atlanta University and Howard University for Journalism.

I desire to major in criminal justice because I aspire to be a Federal prosecutor. I have participated in cheerleading, stepping, dance and the culinary arts throughout high school. I hope to be accepted into Clark-Atlanta University.

I desire to major in anatomy because I aspire to work in the pediatric medical field. I have participated in step, cheerleading and dance throughout high school because of the passion I have for performing. I hope to be accepted into either Georgetown or Howard University.

I desire to major in history because I am interested in becoming a civil rights attorney so I can be able to defend those being discriminated against who do not know their rights. I have participated in the step team, art club and did volunteer work in my community throughout high school. I hope to be accepted into American University.
