  1. Mount Sinai Early Assurance Program- The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has created unique and rigorous pathways for students seeking early assurance of admission to medical school. These pathways encourage applicants from a range of backgrounds, including undergraduates who have declared majors beyond traditional scientific fields, through their FlexMed Program.

  2. NERA MedPrep HCOP Academy- The Northeast Regional Alliance (NERA) MedPrep HCOP Academy program builds on the collective expertise of four outstanding institutions to expand health careers preparation for students from junior high school through medical school with the goal of increasing competitiveness for medical school. They expect that their scholars will have the humanism, professionalism, and interpersonal skills required of a future physician caring for a diverse population.

  3. The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP)- The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free summer program for students to explore their interests in medicine, dentistry, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, public health, and more. 

  4. Pfizer Summer Growth Experience- This program offers summer employment opportunities at various Pfizer sites in the U.S. This program is designed to help create a meaningful internship experience for early talent interested in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry. Projects span across all Pfizer businesses and their interns get to work on real, impactful initiatives, while building relationships and learning about Pfizer.
