Available Scholarships To Apply For:

  • Do Something Scholarship: $100,000 March Honors those, 25 years of age and younger who have already created a significant impact and tangibly improved the lives of others in their greater community in measurable concrete ways.

  • Barry Goldwater Scholarships: $15,000 January The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program awards up to 300 $7,500 scholarships to college sophomores and juniors who are pursuing research careers in mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering.

  • Buick Achievers Scholarship Program: $100,000 February The GM Foundation awards 100 renewable scholarships of up to $25,000 to high school seniors or current undergraduates majoring in engineering, technology, or select design and business-related program of study and who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and financial need.

  • Churchill Scholarships: The Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States awards at least 14 scholarships for one year of graduate study in sciences, engineering, or mathematics at the University of Cambridge to students who graduated from a participating institution and who demonstrate exceptional academic talent and outstanding achievement.

  • Elie Wiesel Prize: in Ethics Essay Contest $5,000 December The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity awards a first place $5,000, a second place $2,500, a third place $1,500, and two honorable mention $500 scholarships to college juniors and seniors who win the Prize in Ethics Essay Contest.

  • Harry S. Truman Scholarships: $30,000 February The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation awards 55-65 scholarships of up to $30,000 to exceptional college juniors who want to work in government, education, the nonprofit sector, or the public interest/advocacy sector.

  • Luce Scholars Program: All Expenses October The Henry Luce Foundation awards 15-18 one-year scholarships for language training and professional placement to college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals who have had limited exposure to Asia and demonstrate high achievement and leadership ability.

  • Marshall Scholarships: All Expenses October The Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission awards up to 40 scholarships covering all expenses to young Americans of high ability seeking to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom.

  • National Merit Scholarship Program: $2,500 November The National Merit Scholarship Corporation awards more than 700 scholarships to high school students with the highest scores on the PSAT/NMSQT.

  • Rhodes Scholarships: All Expenses October The Rhodes Trust awards 32 scholarships covering all expenses for two or three years of study at Oxford University in the United Kingdom to young Americans with high scholarly achievements, outstanding character, strong commitment to others and the common good, and leadership potential in their chosen field.

  • Udall Scholarships: $7,000 March The Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation awards 50 scholarships of up to $7,000 to sophomore and junior level college students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care.
