College Prep Leadership Program - Fidelity Volunteers

Seeds of Fortune Inc. is proud to partner with Fidelity volunteers to support our College Prep Leadership Program. Through this collaboration, Fidelity team members engage directly with our high school scholars to provide financial literacy education and professional mentorship.

Volunteers share their experiences navigating higher education and building financial wellness, helping students understand key topics such as budgeting, credit, investing, and the long-term impact of college decisions on personal finance. Their mentorship empowers students to make informed choices about their academic and financial futures, aligning with Fidelity’s mission to strengthen financial resilience in the next generation.

Together, we’re preparing students not only to gain admission to top colleges but also to graduate with confidence, low debt, and a foundation for lifelong financial success.

Elizabeth 'Liz' Calvo

Director, Data & Insights @Fidelity

I work in People Analytics, which means I use data to help leaders make fair pay decisions and make sure everyone's getting paid what they deserve. I studied Psychology, so I love mixing people smarts with data smarts to make a real impact. Outside of work, I'm all about travel, trying new foods, and finding my zen in yoga or Pilates classes. I've also just rediscovered my love for fiction-currently obsessed with Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros!

Miriam MacDougal

Operations Manager @Fidelity

Hi, I'm Miriam McDougall, an Operations manager. I began my career at Fidelity Investments in 2005 as an Associate in the Corporate Distribution Services team. Today, I serve as Manager for the Corporate Distribution Services team, supporting offices in both New Jersey and Denver. In my role, I oversee daily operations and mange a talented team, continuously growing my expertise in people management and operational strategy. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, travelling, watching tennis and basketball, and spending quality time with friends and family.

I have been in the industry since 2018 and got licensed in 2018. I started not knowing anything about stocks or finances much to now managing both parents account. I actually created my own financial literacy class that I hope to share one day to expand everyone's knowledge on how to take control of your finances. My passions include gaming and going to the gym. I was really competitive in Apex and climbed the rank ladder.

Daniella Quintero

Financial Consultant @Fidelity

Daniella Quintero has worked in the financial services industry for 6 years, with 4 of those years spent at Fidelity. She began her journey in the Fort Lauderdale, FL Investor Center, where her passion for helping people took root. As she found fulfillment in assisting individuals in reaching their financial goals, Daniella made the leap to New York to pursue her dream of working as a Financial Consultant to empower individuals in helping them reach their financial goals.

From a young age, Daniella has been passionate about finance, particularly financial literacy. Her childhood experiences fueled her desire to make a difference by sharing her knowledge, especially with women. Raised by a single mother, Daniella understands the importance of empowering women and bridging societal gaps. Beyond her role at Fidelity, she co-founded a women's networking group aimed at connecting, educating, and empowering women from diverse backgrounds and industries. In addition to her dedication to finance and women's empowerment, Daniella is a self-proclaimed foodie who delights in exploring various cuisines and supporting local businesses by sharing her culinary adventures with others. When she's not working or eating, you can find her running throughout all of NYC. She recently did her first marathon last year and is training for one in December - making it a goal of hers to run one every year.

Jeetanjali 'Anjali' Sawh

Squad Leader, Cloud Automations @Fidelity

I lead an engineering team now, but I didn't start out in tech-I majored in something totally different and had to teach myself everything from scratch. It's been a long journey of teaching myself, persevering when I wanted to give up, and battling imposter syndrome. After 8 years at Fidelity, I've grown a ton and truly believe anyone can learn new skills and thrive, no matter where they begin. As a first-generation college student and corporate employee, I didn't know much about financial literacy at first. Working at Fidelity helped me build that knowledge, and now I love sharing tips on saving, investing, and managing debt-it's never too late to start. Outside of work, I love traveling and taking on random construction projects-fixing lawn mowers, building sinks out of antique dressers, installing electrical components, and occasionally falling off ladders. I love learning by doing.
