Seeds of Fortune Celebrates the Remarkable Achievements of Women of Color at 9th Annual Honoree Event



New York, New York, August 31, 2023 - Seeds of Fortune, a nonprofit organization dedicated to financially empowering young women of color and helping them secure scholarships for college, hosted its highly anticipated 9th annual 2023 Women of Color Creating Wealth: Seed to Bloom event on Friday, June 9th, 2023. The reception, held at JPMorgan Chase Bank in Harlem, was a celebration of the exceptional achievements of women of color who have been acknowledged over the past nine years. The event served as an inspiring testament to the incredible journeys of these remarkable women.

The annual ceremony recognizes and highlights the significant contributions made by women of color in various industries. This year's event showcased the newest inductees who have made an undeniable impact within their fields, serving as role models and catalyst for change. These outstanding women have demonstrated exemplary leadership and determination, and their success stories serve as an inspiration to young women everywhere. Through their remarkable achievements, they have not only empowered themselves but have also uplifted others and championed diversity and inclusion in their respective fields. The newest inductees who have joined the ranks and are serving as beacons of inspiration for future generations are:

The evening also included a special induction and graduation ceremony welcoming new high school scholars into the program and recognizing the achievements of graduating high school seniors matriculating into the University Scholars program. Seeds of Fortune will continue to provide these young women with the necessary support and resources to navigate their educational journeys and pursue their dreams.
