24 Scholarships For Women Of Color

Updated: Jan 26, 2021

Every year, schools raise their tuition costs higher and higher. It’s no wonder that so many people from underprivileged communities

end up in thousands of dollars of debt. Seeds of Fortune was created to help relieve that burden and plant the seeds of economic empowerment for young women of color who want to continue their education.

Here at Seeds of Fortune, we want to reduce the amount of debt for minority families and increase wealth in their communities by teaching high schoolers financial literacy and how to find scholarships that will work for them. We have already helped women earn over eight million dollars in scholarships, and we can’t wait to grow that number even more!

Scholarships

At Seeds of Fortune, we work with high school students to help them prepare for their college career. Besides teaching them the skills they need to succeed in college and life beyond school, we also help young women select scholarships that work for them and their family. Building a scholarship package is an essential part of our work.

This is a list of our top 24 scholarships for women of color. Some of the scholarships have special qualifications or requirements which are listed below, as well as their application deadlines, and amount of money awarded in the scholarship package.
